Referencing the reign of paranoia and slanderous rumors in a small town that caused a circle of youth to suffer victimization and shunning by the local folk.
The village gossip caused an amount of prestige to surround the influential personalities of this group to the point of giving them a sort of (unwanted, yet useful) celebrity status.

In the end, many of the events and crimes this group was accused of simply did not occur; but that doesn't mean that nothing actually happened... Hail to the Sawyerville Cult!
